Position Description

The Real Estate Construction Administrator is a pioneer role created within First Citizens Bank. This associate will report directly to the Real Estate Construction Manager within the Credit Administration division.
The Administrator will partner with Lenders and Commercial Banking Specialists to support the construction funding process. They will be responsible for reviewing construction documentation on closed loans, reviewing draw requests and associated supporting documents, and funding in accordance with Bank standards and guidelines.

Position Requirements

Basic Qualifications
Bachelor degree and 4 years of commercial construction administration experience
High school diploma with 8 years commercial construction administration experience.

Additional Requirements:
- Background in working in a centralized Commercial Real Estate Construction unit (RECAD) across a wide geographic area
- Strong organization and time management skills for prioritizing workflow and managing multiple projects at one time
- Possess strong written and verbal communications skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and other office support systems.
- Ability to effectively function within an established process
- Possess leadership ability and strong interpersonal relationship skills
- Strong attention to detail

Other Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree
- Experience in working within a centralized commercial real estate administration program in a financial institution
